Our Treasure is Each Other

Where does your treasure lie? In this homily Fr. Michael tells the story of a lonely gold prospector struggling amid the harsh reality of winter and meager prospects. He then tells the story of a mystical experience where Thomas Merton glimpsed the people around him as God saw and loved them. How can we together live in that love God pours out whether we see it or not?

Jesus said to his disciples:
"The Kingdom of heaven is like a treasure buried in a field,
which a person finds and hides again,
and out of joy goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
