Who is Buried in St. Peter's Tomb?

Given on the Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul, Fr. Michael reminds us that Peter and Paul, the two pillars of the Church were first and foremost sinners. They knew their shortcomings and loved God all the more for His mercy and compassion. From Matthew 16 verses 13-19: ...He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter said in reply, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus said to him in reply, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah.
