Heart to Heart is a Catholic media ministry. This page says plainly what this site keeps about you, why, and who else sees it. If anything here is unclear, write to us and a person will answer.
What we keep
Your name and email address when you sign up, join a group, buy access, or give. Which episodes you have watched and how far you got, so you can pick up where you left off. If you lead a group, its roster. If you arrived from an advertisement, which one. We do not ask for a password; we email you a sign-in link instead.
Your journal is yours
What you write in your journal is private, permanently. No facilitator, group, or member of our staff can read it. The only way anything you write reaches anyone else is if you choose to post it to your group yourself.
How we use it
To let you in, to remember where you are in a series, to run your group, to fulfil what you bought, and to thank you when you give. We may write to you about Heart to Heart — a new series, a season's reflections, an appeal — and every such email has a way to stop them.
Who else sees it
We do not sell or rent anything about you. A few services do work for us and see only what that work needs: Stripe processes payments, and we never see your card number; Postmark delivers our email; Little Green Light keeps our donor and participant records; Kit sends our broadcasts. Videos play from YouTube and Vimeo, which set their own cookies when you press play. On our advertising pages only, Meta's pixel tells us that an advertisement led to a sign-up.
Cookies
We set a cookie to keep you signed in and one to remember choices you make on the page. We do not use cookies to follow you around other sites.
Your choices
Write to us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Deleting your account removes your journal with it, and it cannot be recovered afterwards.
